Take Me Out to a Petco Park Tour
Check the Petco Park Tour Schedule before getting excited…tours are NOT year-round.
If you’ve been to a Padres game, you’ve only scratched the outside of Petco Park. There’s SO much more underneath the $456 million surface—like “Writer’s Row,” the Western Metal Supply Co. building and the inside of the dugout to name just a few. This date will take you on a guided tour of the stadium, where you’ll see (almost) all of it and hear some pretty cool stories. To avoid the embarrassment of growling stomachs inside the echoey interior, first enjoy brunch (perhaps a mac & cheese scramble?) or lunch (possibly some Lunch Lady taters?) at an old-school sports bar inside the park. If you’re still rumbling after the tour, grab some Chicago-style popcorn or grandma-style ice cream and munch them on the grass at Park at the Park.

ICING ON THE DATE:
- When was the last time you played baseball (or just catch)? Bring a couple baseball gloves, and a bat and a ball if you’re so inclined, and end the date on the kid-sized diamond in the park.
DATE TIPS:
- When the Padres have a day off or are on tour, the tour is offered three times daily, seven days a week. They also have an Early Bird Game Day Tour, so you can always make this a world series kind of date!
