Chicano Park (Barrio Logan) – City Park

Logan Avenue (at Coronado Bridge)
San Diego, CA 92102

Hours: Open 24 hours/day, 7 days/week

Chicano Park is a vibrant urban park at the base of the Coronado Bridge in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. Filled with an eyeful of legal graffiti murals, it’s a poignant expression of the past and present experience of the Hispanic culture in San Diego. Adding to the ‘colores’ found on most every vertical concrete surface are small rose and cacti gardens, play structures, a gazebo stage (where you just might be entertained by a break dancer), basketball courts, and several brightly painted picnic tables. While this isn’t a place to wander after the sun sets, it’s a must see when it’s shining brightly. Don’t miss the opportunity to savor some local delicacies from one of the small family-owned local businesses.
